Ferrara Manufacturing was proudly recognized by the White House as part of President Biden’s Made in America initiatives, a cornerstone of the Biden-Harris Administration’s strategy to bolster domestic manufacturing and strengthen supply chains. Highlighted in the White House’s official fact sheet, Ferrara’s pivotal role in producing Made in USA apparel showcases its commitment to American craftsmanship and innovation.
The White House spotlighted Ferrara Manufacturing for pivoting production to personal protective equipment (PPE) during the pandemic and subsequently securing contracts with the Defense Logistics Agency. Today, Ferrara produces critical garments, including coats for the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, and Military District of Washington—all made in New York City’s Garment District by over 100 union-affiliated workers. This recognition underscores Ferrara’s role in creating sustainable, high-quality products while supporting American jobs.
Gabrielle Ferrara, Chief Operating Officer of Ferrara Manufacturing, shared, “Our company was founded on the values of quality, innovation, and a commitment to our workforce. We’re honored to be part of the solution in rebuilding resilient domestic supply chains and showcasing what Made in America truly represents.”
With plans to expand their Queens-based factory and add 150 new manufacturing jobs, Ferrara Manufacturing continues to invest in the future of American apparel production.
