WWD Features Ferrara Manufacturing for Made in USA PPE Contracts

Published on April 2, 2021

We are proud to share WWD's coverage of Ferrara Manufacturing’s role in producing millions of reusable masks under the Biden Administration’s initiative to support domestic manufacturing during the pandemic.

Partnering with Parkdale Mills, Ferrara Manufacturing is producing up to 22.2 million masks for essential workers at community health clinics, food pantries, and soup kitchens across the nation. This effort highlights the resilience of the American textile industry, which has produced over 1 billion PPE items since the onset of the pandemic.

As Gabrielle Ferrara, COO of Ferrara Manufacturing, noted, “These contracts represent an incredible opportunity to strengthen domestic supply chains and support thousands of American workers.”

This collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to bolstering U.S. manufacturing, preserving critical supply chains, and ensuring our workforce is prepared for future challenges.
