We’re proud to share an article from Sourcing Journal highlighting Ferrara Manufacturing’s partnership with Parkdale Mills under the Biden Administration’s initiative to procure fully Made in USA reusable face masks. This collaboration reflects our dedication to American manufacturing and supporting local communities during critical times.
Ferrara Manufacturing, based in New York City’s Garment District, joined forces with Parkdale Mills, the nation’s largest cotton yarn spinner, to produce more than 17 million reusable masks. These masks, compliant with the Berry Amendment, not only supported vulnerable communities but also employed nearly 5,000 American workers across the supply chain.
“This is another amazing moment for our industry to come together to produce lifesaving PPE for people who need it most,” said Gabrielle Ferrara, COO of Ferrara Manufacturing.
The article also emphasizes the resilience of the U.S. textile industry, which has produced over 1 billion PPE items since 2020. At Ferrara, we remain committed to bolstering domestic manufacturing and strengthening critical supply chains for the future.
